Examiner to probe boy's death in pool

FRUIT HEIGHTS — A medical examiner will determine how a 4-year-old boy died after going under water at Cherry Hill Recreation Park on Tuesday.

Kaleb Kornkven, from West Jordan, was in the water park with his family, in the pool. The pool had many swimmers and the boy's mother lost track of him for about 10 minutes. A lifeguard noticed the boy at the bottom of the pool about 4 p.m., Davis County Sheriff's Capt. Kenny Payne said.
