As we struggle with the loss of this gentle man, many beautiful memories give us peace. Bruce was a man of character, loyal and loving. Above all, Bruce loved his family. He remembered your face, rarely your name; he would do anything for you. His generous spirit made it an honor to know him, let alone love him.

He did, indeed, walk softly upon the earth.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Linda, daughters Brenda (John) Hubbard, Tamera (Mike) Capson, Lisa (Kevin) Mantz, Terri (Eric) Thomas, and sons, Michael (Jessica) Nance and Matthew (Rachel) Nance, 18 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, Siblings, Carolyn (Dennis) Gilbert, David Nance, Marilyn (Steve) Gibson, Jeanette (Bob) Furstenau, Sherry (Dan) Hogge. Bruce was preceded in death by his loving parents.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 23, 2004, 1 p.m. at the Valley View 10th Ward, 1985 East 3900 South.
