John Brush complains about the noisy LDS church parking lots (Readers' Forum, June 23). Is he saying that he wouldn't hear the kids playing if they were on the street in front of his house? Go-carts, mini-bikes and scooters are "noisy toys," and I hear them every day on my street.
I personally like to hear the sounds of tons of kids playing and making noise outside. Much better than hearing gunfire outside in some neighborhoods in America. John, lighten up a bit. Summer is going to be over before you know it, and then we get to hear the drone of snowplows.
