The daughter of Smarty Jones' owners has sued a pair of Pennsylvania horse trainers, alleging they sold her an unruly show horse that later trampled her, causing serious injuries.

Donna Chapman wants to recover the $30,000 she spent to buy the 4-year-old horse named Blue, plus $100,000 in damages.

Chapman suffered a concussion, whiplash, a broken hand and other injuries in the May 14 fall at her farm, according to the lawsuit filed Friday.
