Two people have died in accidents on Utah roads.

A Milford woman died in a crash that happened after she apparently fell asleep while driving early Saturday morning.

And an Idaho man died in a single-car accident in northern Utah Friday night.

Killed were:

Joann Satterfield, 53, Milford.

Del Ray Barnes, 49, Burley, Idaho.

According to a Utah Highway Patrol report, Satterfield was driving west on U-21, near Milford, about 5:30 a.m. Saturday when she lost control of the vehicle. After skidding off the left side of the road, the car rolled and ejected her.

Satterfield was not wearing a seat belt and may have fallen asleep before she crashed. No other passengers were in the car.

Barnes was traveling alone east on U-30, about 12 miles west of Snowville in Box Elder County, when the accident happened, according to a UHP report.

Police say his car slid off of the left side of the road and flipped, ejecting him. The car came to a rest upside down and on top of him.

Barnes was not wearing a seat belt.
