Dan J. Hermansen, our beloved husband, father, son brother, uncle and friend, passed away July 16, 2004 at the age of 44, at his home in

Bountiful.

Born May 15, 1960 in Salt Lake City to Ray J. and Elaine Vincent Hermansen. Married Kelly Elaine Schuhmann on February 8, 1992 in Murray, Utah. His family meant the world to him and always came first.

While growing up, he was very involved in baseball, basketball and football. Over the years he became an avid wrestling and derby fan. He loved spending time teaching and sharing these activities with his kids. He was an active member of the LDS church. He worked in the glass business for many years and was known as "Dan the glass man".

Survivors: wife, Kelly; children, Kelsey and Chase; parents; brothers and sisters, Irene (Dean) Young, Ann Adams, Bob (Ann) Hermansen, Shirley (Preston) Eichers, Bud DeForest; many brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by a brother, Doug; and sisters, Ruth and Raylene.

Funeral services will be held Thurs. July 22, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bridal Wood LDS Ward Chapel, 191 W. Monarch Dr., Bountiful, Utah. Friends may call Wed. evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Thurs. morning from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment-Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
