- Albert John Liddell, age 95, of Orem, formerly of Bridgeland, passed away August 14, 2004 in Roosevelt care center.
He was born May 23, 1909 in Myton to Abraham and Mary Crawford Liddell. He married Mary L. Brundage on July 14, 1928 in Duchesne, their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Mary died February 12, 1999. John was a very successful farmer in Bridgeland for many years, he retired and moved to Orem in 1967. He also attended Barber College in Salt Lake City. He provided many free hair cuts for the farmers and their sons in the surrounding area. He also worked for the state road as a motor grader operator.
He is survived by two sons and two daughters, Ronald (Carol) Liddell, Roosevelt, Rulon (Faye) Liddell, Provo; JaNae Brown, Sandy; Karen Opfar, Mapleton; 20 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Linwood Liddell, Clarence Liddell, Agnes Erickson, Lucille Leavitt, Marion Johnson, a son-in-law, Glenn R. Brown; and a great grandson, Adam Liddell.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 18th, at 11 a.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary, 457 E. 300 No. where friends and family may call one hour prior to the service.
Interment, Roosevelt Memorial Park.
