WEST VALLEY CITY — The American Hockey League has revised the 2004-05 schedule template. Each AHL club will play an unbalanced schedule of 40 home and 40 road games between Oct. 13 and April 17.
The revisions were necessary because of the relocation of the Edmonton Roadrunners, who were based out of Toronto during 2003-04. The Utah Grizzlies will face the Roadrunners four times during the coming season.
The Grizzlies' schedule features 12 opponents this season, including 56 match-ups within the Western Division. Utah will face four teams outside its division within the Western Conference, including Cleveland, Manitoba, Rochester and Edmonton. The games with Rochester and Edmonton will be the first-ever meetings with those two organizations.
From the Eastern Conference, the Grizzlies will face just two opponents, Manchester and Hartford. Both teams were on the Grizzlies' schedule last season.
Season tickets are on sale starting at $280 for a full season package. Call (801) 988-7825 for more information.
