Bullock Frame celebrates its 60th year

The Bullock Frame Company and Gallery, founded in August 1944 by Bert Bullock and Ken Ohlson on Edison Street in downtown Salt Lake City, is celebrating its 60th anniversary this month.

The business, now on Richard Street, is owned and operated today by Bullock's daughter, Allene Smith.

"For decades, we have been framing pictures and paintings for most of Utah's largest companies, including Kennecott, Huntsman Corp., American Linen, Amoco (now Tesoro), Leucadia and many, many others," Smith said in a prepared statement.

She said the company also has worked with departments of the University of Utah and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, among others.

"So we've been very fortunate to have wonderful, long-term relationships."
