MONROE, UTAH <! > Jaylynn (Jay) Frost Jackson, 49, of Monroe, Utah, passed away August 2, 2004, in Richfield, Utah.
He was born March 16, 1955, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Jay Gubler and Thelma June Frost Jackson. He married Arleen Temple in Salt Lake City in 1977. They later divorced.
Jay deeply adored and loved his daughter and grandson. He worked for AAA. He enjoyed fishing and camping and spending time in the mountains. He was always there to help anyone in need.
He is survived by his daughter, Nichole (Chris) Rilk, West Valley City; parents, Jay and Thelma Jackson, Monroe; grandson, Jarred Jackson; sisters, Gayle Peacock, Taylorsville; Judy (Scott) Sceili, West Jordan; and Renee Adams, Monroe; and his dog, Buddie, his best friend.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ira and Vyla Dayley Frost, and Harry Earl and Partha Gubler Jackson; and uncles, Earl Jackson and Myron D. Frost.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 6, 2004, at 12 Noon, in the Monroe 1st Ward LDS Chapel. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary, Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. and at the ward chapel on Friday morning from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery.
