Jo-Ann Stores Inc., an Ohio-based fabric and craft retailer, has opened its first superstore in the Salt Lake area.

The 35,500-square-foot facility is located in the Family Center at Midvalley, 5790 Redwood Road. Grand opening events are scheduled Aug. 12 through Aug. 15.
