UVSC names 3 leaders

OREM — The School of Science and Health at Utah Valley State College has appointed three new department chairmen.

Bob Walsh will head Community Health. Walsh has been with UVSC since 2002. Prior to coming to UVSC, he was director of graduate studies at Idaho State University.

Gary Measom will direct the Nursing Department. Measom joined UVSC four years ago. He was previously an assistant professor of nursing at Brigham Young University.

Brent Bargeron will direct the Physics Department. Bargeron was a visiting scholar at UVSC in 2002. He was a consultant and principal professional physicist for Sensor Science Group at The John Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory prior to coming to UVSC.
