Dal Soglio Sinclair Station, Utah's first public retail biodiesel fuel station, will celebrate its grand opening today at the station, 7398 S. 700 West.

Biodiesel fuel is made from any fat or vegetable oil, such as soybean oil, and can be used in its pure form or blended with petroleum diesel at any level.

Proponents say the fuel is environmentally friendly because it is renewable, domestically produced and cleaner-burning, while reducing dependence on foreign oil.
