The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints reported Thursday that all of its full-time missionaries in the path of Hurricane Ivan are safe and accounted for.

Spokesman Dale Bills said he won't have confirmed information on the status of any regular church members affected by the hurricane until today.

Meanwhile, Elder Erik Todd Hatch from Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Elder Derrick Stephen Gibelyou from Kingman, Ariz., both serving in the Cayman Islands when the hurricane hit, were able to make contact with their mission president Thursday.
