Salt Lake-based STSN and Mobil Travel Guide have launched what they call the first online booking engine that enables business travelers to make online reservations based on the criteria that hotels deliver secure high-speed Internet access.
The engine can be accessed at www.stsn.com.
The booking engine allows users to find and book hotels with secure broadband, notated with a special STSN icon; access Mobil Star ratings of hotels across the United States and Canada; access Mobil Travel Guide's rate-comparison display, which shows side-by-side advance-purchase Internet rates, as well as the widely available marketplace rate for the hotel; look at an integrated map display; and find detailed descriptions of each hotel, along with inspection summaries on Mobil Star-rated properties.
STSN offers secure, managed broadband services at hotels and conference centers.
