Part of I-15 to close in Farmington area

FARMINGTON —The Utah Department of Transportation will close I-15 in both directions in the Farmington area Friday and Saturday nights.

The overnight closures will begin each night at 10 p.m. and end the following mornings at 9 a.m. The work is necessary so that crews can demolish a bridge that crosses I-15.

During the closures, detour signs will direct southbound motorists to exit the freeway at exit No. 327. They will be routed onto State Street, 400 West and Lagoon Drive, then back onto the freeway. Northbound motorists will depart I-15 at exit No. 325 and use Lagoon Drive to re-enter I-15.
