1975 ~ 2004

David, age 28, passed away suddenly September 17, 2004 in Richmond, Virginia while visiting friends.

David was born November 24, 1975 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

David weighed only 3 lbs. and has struggled with life ever since. He enjoyed music and loved to draw. He worked at a bronze art studio in Kalispell, Montana, but decided he needed to travel. He loved being outdoors and had traveled all over the United States. He made many friends wherever he went. He loved all creatures big and small. Material things never meant anything to him. The only thing that mattered was his family and friends -- most of all his two sons.

David had been searching for something for years. We hope you found your peace. We will always love and miss you and your wonderful smile. David is with his brother Dan now, whom he missed every day. They were both too special for this world.

David is survived by his mother, Jacquelyn Lakeit; two sons, Jay J. Lupo (12, of Salt Lake City, Utah) and Aaron Lupo Divita (6, of Kalispell, Montana); two sisters, Laura Slick and Brandi Bunn; grandmother, Julia Service; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceded in death by his brother, Dan Lakeit.

A viewing will be held for family and friends on Friday, September 24, 2004 from 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St. David will be cremated and taken to Lakeside, Montana where a memorial will be held for close family and friends where he will be set free.
