"Jekyll and Hyde," through Oct. 16. This musical thriller at Hale Center Theater Orem, 225 W. 400 North, plays Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays. "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown," through Oct. 1 at the Center Street Musical Theatre, 177 W. Center, Provo, at 7 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays. "Moon Over Buffalo," through Oct. 15. This is a comedy production of the Provo Theatre Company, 105 E. 100 North, Provo. Shows Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. Tickets range from $12.50 to $15. Call 379-0600 for reservations or more information.
"Nathan the Wise,"through Oct. 9 at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday in the Pardoe Theater at Brigham Young University. Nathan, a Jewish debt collector, faces the eternal question of which religion God would have for man — Judaism, Christianity or Islam — when he is confronted by a Muslim sultan who has power over his life and a Christian knight who loves his daughter. $12 ($3 off with BYU or student ID). "Forever Plaid," Sept. 24-25, featured at Utah Valley State College at 7:30 p.m. in the UVSC Ragan Theater. There will also be a 2 p.m. matinees on Sept. 25. Tickets are $10 general admission, $8 students and children, and $6 for UVSC students, faculty and staff. Tickets can be purchased at campus connection by calling 863-8797.

"Peter Breinholt," Sept. 24, at Thanksgiving Point's "Hot Autumn Nights" concert series at the Waterfall amphitheater at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door, available at Ticketmaster outlets and the Show Barn box office. Violinist, Monte Belnap, Sept. 24, will present a faculty artist concert at 7:30 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall at Brigham Young University. The public is welcome. Free.
EXHIBITS
BYU Museum of Art exhibits:
"Art of the Ancient Mediterranean World: Egypt, Greece, Rome," at the BYU Museum of Art. Tickets are $5 adults, $4 seniors, $3 for students, $18 for families of up to six people. Admission is free for children five years and younger and BYU students and employees.
"Metaphorically Speaking: Contemporary Religious Art" through Jan 8 at the BYU Museum of Art. The exhibit explores the use of visual symbols as parables and metaphors.
"150 Years of American Painting," a permanent collection of paintings at the BYU Museum of Art by artists such as Frederic Edwin Church, Maynard Dixon, John Singer Sargent and many Utah favorites including Minora Young. Free.

"Making Earth," and "Portraits of Grief" a special exhibition at the Utah Valley State College Library. Feature artists include Hyunmee Lee, an Art & Visual Communications professor at the college, and Frank McEntire, a sculptor and executive director of the Utah Arts Council. The exhibit is open from 5 to 7 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
"Gallery Adventures" take place in the Museum of Art auditorium on the BYU Provo campus at 7 and 8 p.m. each Monday through September. There is no charge. Call 422-8286 for more information.
"Looking Inwards, Looking Outward: Japanese Representations of Self and Others," is the title of a new exhibit on Japanese art, history and culture. Sponsored by the Harold B. Lee Library and the L. Tom Perry Special Collections at Brigham Young University. Call 422-3514 for more information.
