PROVO — Terry Ball, chair of Ancient Scripture at Brigham Young University, will present "Faith and the Scientific Method" on Friday at 7 p.m. in the Joseph Smith Building auditorium.

"It is possible for people of faith to also excel in scientific disciplines," says Ball, a archaeobotany researcher. "I hope to show that there need not be any animosity between faith and scientific method."

The lecture is the third in the Hyrum B. Summerhays Lecture Series hosted by the BYU College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences and Religious Education.
