The Economic Development Corp. of Utah's grant committee has approved a record 27 applications for matching grant funds.
Receiving grand awards were Box Elder County Community and Economic Development, Bristlecone Community Development Corp., Cache Chamber of Commerce/city of Logan, Cache Valley Tourist Council, Cedar City/Iron County Economic Development, city of Taylorsville, Daggett County, Davis County Community and Economic Development, Heber City/WEDO Tourism Council, Miller Business Innovation Center, Moab Film Commission, Murray City Corp., Payson city, Salt Lake City Corp., Salt Lake Downtown Alliance, Sandy city, SmartUTAH for Tropic and Kanab, Tooele city, Washington city and West Valley City.
Since its inception in 1990, EDCU's Match Grant Program has awarded 241 grants totaling $566,472.
