The 2006 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 makes its debut Monday at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. General Motors Corp. said the Z06, developed in conjunction with the upcoming C6-R race car, is "the fastest, most powerful car" it has ever offered. It is expected to go from zero to 60 mph in under 4 seconds, with a top speed of more than 190 miles per hour.
