The University of Utah is inviting fans to celebrate the football team's undefeated season and Fiesta Bowl victory.
The event will take place prior to the Utah-New Mexico men's basketball game on Jan. 22, beginning at 11:45 a.m. The event is free and will take place in a heated tent just outside the Huntsman Center. Tip-off for the basketball game is 1 p.m.
Football players and coaches will hand out posters and sign autographs, while the Fiesta Bowl trophy will be on display. The first 500 people to show up at the party will get free tickets to the basketball game that afternoon.
At halftime, Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson will present the football team with the key to the city.
