The law firm of Snow, Christensen & Martineau welcomes back Derek J. Williams, who is returning from a one-year clerkship. Williams' practice focuses on most areas of civil litigation, including product liability, commercial litigation and insurance law.

DoriLynn Roberts has joined Bank of Utah as a mortgage and construction loan officer at the bank's Sandy office. Roberts has more than 11 years of mortgage industry experience and will be focused on developing business in Utah County.

Christopherson Travel Group announced three staff changes. Becky Fraiser has joined the agency as an information technology specialist. Fraiser has been in the travel agency for more than 16 years. Tami Harris was hired as a travel consultant for the agency's State of Utah on-site travel office. Harris has 19 years of travel industry experience. Mindy Corral was hired as a travel consultant for Christopherson's on-site travel office at Weider Nutrition International. Corral has more than 11 years of corporate travel experience.

Wells Fargo Bank announced two staff changes. DeeAnn Beltz, regional services manager for Wells Fargo Utah, was appointed vice president. Beltz has nearly 17 years of financial services industry experience. In her current role, she will direct store-based operation controls and develop and implement service initiatives for the bank's retail and business banking locations in Utah. Wells Fargo Investments has named Greg Rudd financial consultant for its Cottonwood area. Rudd has nearly 10 years of financial services experience and is a graduate of Brigham Young University.

The Salt Lake Board of Realtors has elected its officers for 2005, and they are: Debra Sjoblom, Chapman Richards & Associates, president; Sharon Spratley, Prudential Utah Real Estate, first vice president; Max Burdick Jr., Keller Williams Utah Realtors, second vice president; and Paula Shaw, Coldwell Banker Residential Mortgage, treasurer.

Dr. Jeffrey R. Van Blarcom has joined the IHC Physician Group at the IHC Health Center in Layton, where he will provide pediatric medical services. Van Blarcom is a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, N.C. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

The law firm of Parr Waddoups Brown Gee & Loveless announced the addition of three new associates. Barton L. Gertsch is a member of the firm's business transactions group. His practice focuses on finance matters in the aircraft and real estate industries. Royce B. Covington is a member of the firm's litigation group. His practice includes real estate, title and escrow claims, as well as securities litigation. Jenifer L. Tomchak is a member of the firm's commercial litigation group. Her practice focuses on employment and labor matters.

Love Communications, a Salt Lake-based advertising agency, announced two staff changes. Bret Ivory has joined the agency as art director. Ivory is a graduate of Utah State University. Kelli Meziani was promoted to account coordinator. Meziani previously served as the agency's office/traffic manager. As account coordinator, she will have account service responsibilities for a wider range of the firm's clients. Meziani is a graduate of the University of Utah.

Gary R. Murray was promoted to branch manager of the main office of Brighton Bank. Murray also serves as senior vice president and commercial loan officer. He specializes in commercial real estate and small business lending. Murray is a graduate of BYU and the U.

Edwards & Daniels Architects announced three staff changes. Holli Adams and Evan Cindrich were named partners. Adams specializes in the programming, design and construction of recreation and aquatic centers, and civic facilities. She has 14 years of design and project management experience. Cindrich is an interior designer. He has more than 14 years of experience, focusing on a full range of architectural interior services for corporate, public and private facilities. EDA also named Holly Feinsilber as director of marketing. Feinsilber is a graduate of John B. Stetson University in Florida and has 14 years of experience in marketing and sales.

ClearOne Communications Inc. has named Werner Pekarek as vice president of operations and Tracy Bathurst as vice president of product line management. Pekarek joins ClearOne with more than 15 years of executive level operations experience. He is a graduate of Paderborn in Germany. Bathurst was previously ClearOne's director of research and development and has nearly 20 years of experience in developing communications-related products and technology. He has been with ClearOne since 1988 and is a graduate of Southern Utah University.

Politis Communications has hired Matt Clayton and Matt Hargreaves as account coordinators. Clayton is a graduate of BYU. Prior to joining Politis, he worked in media relations at the university and at the Utah Attorney General's Office. Prior to joining Politis, Hargreaves was director of a non-profit clearinghouse of internships in Utah. He is also a graduate of BYU.

The Utah Administrative Office of the Courts has named Jessica Van Buren as Utah State Law Library director. Van Buren previously served as public services librarian at the Alaska State Court Law Library. She is a graduate of the University of Oregon and its Law School, and the University of Washington.
