I support the folks who live north of Beck Street in their desire for the Legacy Highway. I live in West Valley and have used both mass transit and car to commute downtown. Fortunately, my car commute takes about 20 minutes.
Mass transit makes good sense if you live reasonably close to the system and work reasonably close to where it goes. Having lived in Manhattan, I know mass transit works well there; but this is not Manhattan.
