Utah's best high-tech innovations and the companies that created them will be recognized in the third annual Stoel Rives Utah Innovation Awards.
Entry forms are due Feb. 16 and can be downloaded at www.stoel.com/innovation.
The awards will recognize top innovations in six areas of invention: biotechnology, chemicals, medical devices, computer software and Web service, electrical devices and mechanical devices.
Award winners will be announced at an awards lunch at noon May 19 in the U. Olpin Ballroom. The lunch event will be held in connection with the Edison Conference, a networking and educational event for Utah inventors and entrepreneurs.
The awards program is sponsored by Wasatch Digital iQ magazine, the Utah Engineering Experiment Station at the University of Utah, the Utah Information Technology Association and the law firm Stoel Rives LLP, with support from the MountainWest Venture Group and the Utah Life Science Association.
