Marie Goldie Losee Chambers 1942 ~2005 Marie Goldie Losee Chambers, age 62, passed away January 25, 2005 in West Valley City, Utah. Marie was born May 26, 1942 to Abraham Losee and Goldie Shaw Losee. She graduated from Cyprus High and attended the University of Utah. She married Laurence T. Chambers on May 22, 1964 in Salt Lake City; they later divorced. Marie enjoyed bowling, outdoors, crocheting, chocolate dipping, softball, basketball and she completed the St. George Marathon twice. She was active in the LDS Church, currently serving as the secretary in the Relief Society. Marie was a dedicated employee of First Security Bank for over 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved animals, especially her two cats, Scooter and Casper. Marie is survived by her daughters, Diane (Bob) Johnson and Cori (Corby) Eccles; sons, Paul (Suzane) Chambers and Jim (Jill) Chambers; sister, Marge (Jay) Thornock; brother, Lyman (Carolyn) Losee and 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, step father, Andrew Ivan Andreason; grandparents, brothers, Ray, Lou, Dale and Merle Andreason and sister, Helen Letteer. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Kearns 10th Ward Chapel, 5025 W. 4865 S. The family will receive friends at a visitation Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W. 4100 S., and from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Sat. prior to the service at the Ward. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
