LAYTON — A man was cited for disorderly conduct Tuesday morning after scuffling with a waitress and then breaking a window at Sill's Cafe, 281 S. Main.
At first, the man was joking with a waitress and everything seemed to be fine. But eventually the man threw some food at the waitress, said Layton Assistant Police Chief Craig Gibson.
She responded by pouring water on him and then cracking an egg on his head. The man began yelling and then was told to leave the premises. On his way out, he put his fist through a window, breaking it, Gibson said.
Cafe owners didn't want to press charges, but a Layton police officer who witnessed the incident cited the man, Gibson said.
