Abbie Lorine Lee Jorgensen, 93, passed away Dec. 30, 2004, at home in Sandy, UT.
Abbie was born May 29, 1911, in Tooele, UT to John LeRoy and Emma Huffaker Lee. She graduated from Tooele High School. She married H.M. Jorgensen in 1929 (later divorced). She worked at Auerbach's department store for 33 years. After retiring, she divided her time living with family in Las Vegas and Moberly, MO. In 1995 she moved to Sandy where she enjoyed the friendship of many at Alta View Estates.
Abbie was an active member of the LDS Church.
She is survived by her children, Lee of Salt Lake; John (Jackie) of Moberly, MO; Diane Heath of Sandy and Karen Ravelo of Las Vegas; 19 grandchildren, 56 great-grand-children, one great-great-grand-daughter and sisters, Lillian Hadlock and Phoebe Myler.
Viewing will be from 10-11:30 a.m. on Fri., Jan. 7, at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S., Sandy, where funeral services will follow at noon. Interment at Tooele City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to the LDS Humanitarian Fund for relief in South Asia.
