Edythe A. Walters, age 75, passed away Jan. 7, 2005 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born Dec. 2, 1929 in Murray Utah. Edythe married Don L. Walters on Oct. 3, 1948. They were married for 57 years.
Edythe was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in the Relief Society and a temple worker at the Jordan Valley Temple. She worked for Parker-Hannifin as an Executive Secretary for 25 years. She also enjoyed golfing and bowling.
Survived by her husband, Don; children, Barbara Walters, Larry (Melena), Steven (Wendy); brothers, Grant (Merna) Parker, Jay (Marge) Hazelgren, Richard Hazelgren, Rodney Parker, Lynn (Jean), and Gary Parker; sisters, Jeane Mackie, Donna (Ron) Sisam; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and will be missed by special friends Rob and Connie Robinson. Preceded in death by her parents and brother.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St. A viewing will be held Mon. from 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary and one hour prior to services on Tues. Interment Sunset Gardens.
