LUGANVILLE, Vanuatu — More than 300 young adult members of the Church in Luganville Vanuatu District gathered in September to attend a four-day youth conference that began with an opening parade through the city.

The goal of the annual gathering is to build faith in Jesus Christ, share testimonies, meet new friends and share beliefs. They visited various companies that contribute to the development and economic growth of the country, and they learned about coconut production, the operation of a hydropower station in Fanafo, and the abattoir.

The youth also attended programs given by the local police department, health department, and the Luganville Youth Center.
