Obituary: Deloris Kroff Lougy

Deloris Kroff Lougy 1918 ~ 2005 If God ever created an angel, mom was one. On 27 October 2005, at the age of 87, she passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home of congestive heart failure. She was born to loving parents William Fred Kroff and Pearl P. Killpack on 12 May 1918 in Tooele, Utah. She married Grant X. Lougy on 20 August 1937 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He passed away 12 May 1996. She was the mother of two children, LaVar (Dixie) Lougy and Judy Fonger. She is survived by her children, nine grandchildren, 24 great-grand-children, nine great-great-grand-children, and two sisters Laura Williams, Tooele and Lillis Barlow, St. George. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, brothers Veral and Gene Kroff, sister LeDean West, son-in-law Butch Fonger, grandson Kenny Fonger, and granddaughter Rhonda Riggle. We love you mom and will miss you dearly. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov 2, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Tooele 4th Ward, 192 West 200 South. Friends may call at Tate Mortuary, Tues., Nov 1st from 6-8 p.m, and 9:30-10:30 prior to the service at the church. Interment Tooele City Cemetery.
