Obituary: Edward Clark Romney

Edward Clark Romney 1/26/43 ~ 10/28/05 Edward Clark Romney, age 62, died October 28, 2005, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born January 26, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah to William C. and Annie D. Cahoon Romney. Married Lynnette Nielson on December 9, 1963 in the Salt Lake Temple. He worked for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and retired after 38 years of service. Dad was a faithful member of the LDS church, holding many stake and ward callings. He loved and enjoyed life. Some of his interests were nature, his motorcycles, tigers, and BYU football, especially when they won. Dad was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his family dearly, especially his sweet grandchildren. He was a kind and gentle man and was a friend and example to all who knew him. Preceded in death by parents, sister Dawn, and brother Jim. Survived by his wife, Lynnette; his children, Brent (Emiko), David (Rachel), Susan, Christine (Jeremy), Michael (Allyson), his six grandchildren, sister Jacine and brother Bill. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 4th at 10:00 a.m. at the Wesley Road Chapel, 5235 So. Wesley Road (1200 East). Viewings will be held Thursday, November 3rd at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary (4760 So. State Street) from 6-8 p.m., and Friday November 4th from 9:00-9:30 a.m. at the Wesley Road Chapel. Interment at Murray City Cemetery.
