Midway studio receives honors from magazine

The October issue of Decor magazine has named The Robert Duncan Studios in Midway, Wasatch County, as one of seven winners of the 2005 top art and framing retailers.

The $450,000 studio took top honors in the aesthetics and design category.

The 1,800-square-foot studio encompasses a Swiss architectural style that includes a bell tower and post and beam structure.

The wood for the gallery was obtained from a local pine mill. The family helped to construct some portions of the building to reduce labor costs.
