Donate $$, clothing to hurricane victims

SPANISH FORK — American Legion posts throughout the region and the state are collecting money and clothing for victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. To date the National American Legion has processed more than $1.1 million, but funds and clothing items are still needed, including warm sweaters and coats.

Residents are being asked to "Adopt a Post" in your area and bring contributions to those posts. Call Thad S. Jensen, Utah state commander and member of Spanish Fork Post #68, at 798-2374 for specific information and to find a post in your area.
