Obituary: Ronald Weldo Watts

Ronald Weldo Watts Dear Grandpa Ron, age 73, loving husband, father, grandpa, brother, and friend returned to his Father in Heaven November 7, 2005 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He patiently fought a courageous battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). He left behind his tender and loving wife and care-giver, Carol, two sons, Greg (Teresa), Brad (Angela), two daughters, Lisa Adair (Dean), Heidi Hadzima (David), and 10 grandchildren who adored him, a sister, Debra and a brother Gary (Joan). Reunited with loved ones, his parents, Weldo and Zelma, and niece, Mitzi. Ron was born in Lynndyl, Utah, October 17, 1932. Avid hunter from the time he could carry a gun, Eagle Scout, academically gifted, fraternity brother. Earned his Master Degree, in Industrial Psychology at the University of Utah. Married the love of his life, Carol Lee Peterson, on April 5, 1957 sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Friends may visit with the family, Tuesday, Nov. 10th, 6-8 p.m. at Holladay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 South Highland Drive. Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 11, 2005 at noon, Cottonwood 10th Ward, 4930 Westmoor Rd. (1665 East) with a viewing just prior from 10:45 - 11:45 a.m. Interment will be at Bountiful Lakeview Memorial Estates. Our deepest gratitude to our friends at Vista Care Hospice and MDA.
