Deon Jenkins Coray 1917~2005 NEPHI- Deon Jenkins Coray, age 88, passed away November 6, 2005 at her home in Nephi, Utah. She was born October 4, 1917 in Charleston, Utah to Junius Paxman and Sylvia Murdock Jenkins. She married Gene A. Coray December 30, 1943. Marriage was later solemnized in Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died November 30, 1995. She grew up in Heber City and moved to Long Beach CA when she married Gene. They live there for 30 years. She worked for McDonald Douglas and the Bureau of Immigration. She served in the LDS church as Stake secretary, YW leader, Cub Den leader and Family History and Name Extraction. She moved to Nephi in 1992 and worked in Kimo's store. She was always a faithful and caring person. Survived by a son, Kimo and wife Marie of Mona; six grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sister, Marva (Charles) Niederhauser; brothers, Joe (Belva) Jenkins; Lars (Zina) Jenkins; Terry (Irene) Jenkins. Preceded in death by brothers, Don Jenkins and Floyd Jenkins. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, 2005 in the Nephi 3rd Ward, 345 E. 500 N. Friends may call Thursday evening 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 W. 300 N. and at the church one hour prior to the services. Interment, Payson Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
