ABLE Clinic — Seeking help updating resource guide for special needs children. Editing, keyboard experience and word template on your home computer preferred.

Newman Elementary — Volunteers needed to help kids with homework after school. Tutor children (K-6) Monday-Thursday, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The Utah Food Bank — Three-month, part-time training position. Help prepare daily dinner meals for the Kids Cafe program. Get your food handler's permit and ServSafeeaves for local senior citizens and persons with disabilities. Help is needed throughout the month.

Utah Health and Human Rights Project — Needs massage therapists, psychologists, dentists and other health professionals to volunteer with rehabilitation of survivors of political torture.

Friends In Need — Animal rescue agency located in Eagle Mountain, Utah County, needs volunteers to help with duties, including exercising and caring for animals. Also looking for someone to help get sponsors and "in kind" donations.

Salvation Army — Holiday assistance programs in need of bilingual English-Spanish speakers to help with the intake process through Nov. 20. Shifts run on Tuesday (9 a.m.-12 p.m.), Thursday (1-4 p.m. and 5-7 p.m.) and Saturday (9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m.). Also need donations of food from restaurants for volunteers during their application process.
