The University of Utah volleyball team (18-7, 10-4 Mountain West) saw its 12-match home winning streak snapped with a 3-1 loss to conference rival Colorado State (16-7, 9-4 MWC) at Crimson Court Saturday night.

Game scores were 30-24, 30-28, 32-34 and 30-21. Colorado State is the only team to win at Crimson Court this season. The loss also snapped Utah's seven-match winning streak.

CSU outblocked Utah 18-11.5, thanks to a nine-block effort in game four alone. Utah hit just .153, led by Whitney Webb and Shelly Sommerfeldt, who had 16 kills each. Emillie Toone and Sommerfeldt led the way defensively with five total blocks each, as CSU finished the match hitting .212. The Rams' Casey Bauer had a match-best 21 kills.
