Grace Romero "Still Dancing" Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, returned to her heavenly home Saturday, November 12, 2005. Grace was born July 4, 1937 to Willie and Petronila Romero in Minturn, Colorado. In 1959, she married the love of her life, John A. Romero. Grace was a beautiful woman with a beautiful spirit who was crowned Homecoming Queen at Menaul High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she graduated in 1956. She always carried herself with poise and dignity in everything she did. Above all else, Grace loved and lived for her family. Her own personal wants and needs were second to making sure that her family was cared for and happy. Grace always made friends easily and enjoyed visiting with others. She especially loved hosting parties for her family and friends. Grace had a love for music, she and John were always the first ones on the dance floor. Although she will be greatly missed, it is comforting to know that Grace is finally free from the physical pain and suffering that she endured during her adult life. She is now at peace. Always watching over her family, Grace continues as our spiritual guardian angel. Survived by her husband, John; sons, Ken (Sherry) Romero, Bryan (Christine) Romero; sister, Ida (Nelson) Romero; brothers, Willie Jr. (Marie) Romero, James (Elizabeth) Romero; grandchildren, Christopher, Rick, Tyson, Curtis, Isabel, and Anna Petra. Preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Petronila Romero. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2005, 11 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church, 624 W. Lennox St., Midvale, Utah. Friends may call Tuesday evening at St. Therese Catholic Church from 6-7:30 p.m. A Holy Rosary will be held from 7:30-8 p.m. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
