Chris Capps 1957 - 2005 Chris Capps departed this earthly existence on November 9, 2005 at the age of 48. Chris was born on August 27, 1957 in Salt Lake City to C. Dale and Connie G. Capps. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Chris married Jolene Potter in May of 1979, they later divorced. To this union was born one daughter, Cagney Marie Capps. Chris attended Bountiful High School where he excelled in both soccer and hockey. Chris was a master craftsman who had the opportunity to share his talents with many. He felt privileged to work on cabinets for both the Bountiful Temple and the LDS Conference Center. Almost more important than his physical accomplishments, was the service Chris rendered without being asked. Chris was a very kind and giving man who saw a need and offered his assistance in his very quiet way. He touched so many people's lives for good and helped so many people along the way. There are so many things we needed to say to you Chris; we thought we had more time. There are few people who knew of your great goodness and accomplishments. We love you so much and will miss your visits. May you be wrapped in the loving arms of your grandparents until we meet again. Chris is survived by his loving parents Dale and Connie Capps, his daughter Cagney, brother Scott (Debbie) Capps, sister Laurie McKinnon and his nieces and nephews, Ashley, Wesley, Brandon and Kelsey. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, where friends may call from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday night and, 12:45 - 1:45 p.m. prior to services.
