Erma Fay Skipworth Fisher Our Beloved Mother Erma Fay Skipworth Fisher, returned home November 10, 2005. She was born November 16, 1908 in Grimsby, England to Annie Maria Field and James R. Skipworth. She grew up in England and immigrated with her family to the Cardston area of Canada where she married Neff Gibb Fisher in the Cardston Temple. As her health has been deteriorating these last years, she has been looking forward to being reunited with her sweetheart Neff. We are blessed to know they are together again. They moved to Utah in 1947 and eventually settled in Kearns. She loved the Lord and spent her life serving her family and her church. She was a member of the original Kearns Ward. Her musical talent kept her working hard in her church for most of her life. Even in her latter years she kept her fingers active with knitting. How those frail hands could move even when she couldn't see. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Louis and Leslie and Milbourn; sisters, Ivy and Thelma. She leaves behind her seven children, Ladell Fisher, Joy Hansen, Phillip (Carol) Fisher, Gloria Chipman, James (Anne) Fisher, Morgan (Kathy) Fisher and Thelma Sorenson, 43 grandchildren, 132 great grandchildren and 41 great great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. We would like to thank Sandy Regional Health Center for their special care. Our thanks and love also go out to all of you who have expressed your love and help. Our gratitude must go to her two care givers, Gloria and Joy. They have sacrificed much these last few years and are wonderful daughters. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the Olympic Park Ward, 5829 So. Cougar Lane (4800 W). The family will receive friends at a viewing Tuesday morning prior to services from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. at the Ward. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park
