Obituary: Anna Irene Millard Barnes

Anna M. Barnes 1919 ~ 2005 DOWNEY, ID - Anna Irene Millard Barnes, 86, longtime Downey, ID resident, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2005 in Pocatello, ID. Anna was born June 22, 1919 in Swan Lake, Idaho to William Henry and Clara Lavina (Jones) Millard. Anna married Daniel B. Barnes Dec. 23, 1937 in Pocatello, Idaho; later solemnizing their marriage February 10, 1947 in the Logan Temple. Anna is survived by her children, Kathleen B. Hansen, Pocatello, ID, Gary D. (Louise) Barnes, currently serving in the Ghana Accra Africa Mission, and Dana (Patrick) Reese, Bountiful, UT; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and four great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers; sister; and a grandson, Brett W. Barnes. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the Downey LDS 2nd Ward chapel, Bishop Ronald D Wakley officiating. Friends may call at Colonial Mortuary, 2005 South Fourth Ave, Pocatello, ID, Monday, November 14, 2005 from 6-8 p.m. or Tuesday at the church from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Burial will follow services in the Downey Cemetery.
