Alice Weber Ingebretsen 1911 ~ 2005 BOUNTIFUL - Alice Weber Ingebretsen, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2005 after a valiant battle with cancer. She was born February 27, 1911 to Robert Weber and Alice Louise Hayes Weber in Etna, Wyoming in a two room log house by a midwife. She spent her first nine years in Etna, then her father moved them to Weiser, Idaho on the Oregon side where he could farm. She attended school there. On March 29, 1937 she married Paul Edward Ingebretsen in the Salt Lake Temple. He was working for the Union Pacific Railroad. His work took them to Glenns Ferry where their three children, Ronney Dale and twins Paul Roy and Paulette, were born. He then transferred to Pocatello where she lived until 2000. Alice was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in several positions thinking each calling was the best in the Church. In 2000 she moved to Bountiful after Paul's death to be closer to family. She sewed most of her own clothes and at 90 years old gave up knitting. They always had the best garden in the area and loved sharing with the neighbors. She and Paul loved fishing and spent time with friends taking fishing trips. Preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters and their spouses; sons, Paul Roy Ingebretsen, Ronney Dale Ingebretsen; husband, Paul Edward Ingebretsen; and grandson, Daron Ingebretsen. She is survived by daughter, Paulette Ingebretsen; daughter-in-law, Diane Ingebretsen; granddaughter, Dena Wentz (John); and great-granddaughter, Lacey Nicole Wentz. The family would like to thank all the wonderful people at Barton Creek Assisted Living for being so loving and caring. A very special thank you to her hospice nurse, DeeAnn. Our family gives special thanks to Paulette for taking such good care of grandma. Funeral services will be Wednesday November 16, 2005, 2 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main Street. Friends may call prior to services at the Mortuary from 12:45-1:45 p.m. Burial will follow in the Bountiful City Cemetery. Online guest book and directional maps available at www.russonmortuary.com
