Obituary: Glen Boyd VanderWerff

Glen Boyd VanderWerff 1949 ~ 2005 Glen Boyd VanderWerff, 56, died November 9, 2005 in Murray. He was born January 7, 1949 in Salt Lake City to William Prinz VanderWerff and Nell Brown McKay. He married Valinda Valdez May 12, 1986. He was class president of Highland High School, graduating in 1967. He served a mission in Virginia/North Carolina. Then continued his education at the University of Utah, earning a B.S. in music. He had his own Commercial Real Estate Business. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He is survived by his friend, Valinda VanderWerff; children, Ryan, Jeremy, Brittany, and Tiffany; brothers, William Paul (Linda) VanderWerff, Bruce (Shirley) VanderWerff and Wayne (Katie) McKay; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, William Prinz; mother, Nell B. McKay; and sister, Beth VanderWerff. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2005, 2 p.m. at 619 West 5750 South, Murray, Utah. Viewing will be Monday, November 14, 2005 at Memorial Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services Tuesday. Interment at Salt Lake City Cemetery, 3rd Avenue & "N" Street.
