Obituary: F. Doyle Grant

F. Doyle Grant 1940 ~ 2005 Franklin Doyle Grant, our dear loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather, has returned home to be with his Heavenly Father. He was born to George Edward "Ted" and Vera Moesser Grant October 31, 1940. He was the youngest of eight children. He served in the Army National Guard. He married Karen Sears March 14, 1964. He worked as a carpenter and for Salt Lake County Public Works for 27 years. He loved animals, especially horses. He also loved camping and hunting with his family. He is survived by his wife, Karen; children, Mark (Debbie) and Jennie (Eric) Weese; grandchildren, Tana, Marty, and Megan; brothers, Avan (Norma), Loyal "Short" (Sheree); and sister, Teddie Jones. He is preceded in death by sister, Beth; brothers, Ned, John, and Earl. Funeral services will be held at Mountain View Mortuary, 3115 East 7800 South, Tuesday, November 15, 2005, 11 a.m. Family and friends may visit an hour prior to services and Monday evening from 6-8 pm at the mortuary. Interment to follow services at Mountain View Cemetery, same location.
