Arlene L. Day Richmond, Utah Arlene Lawrence Day, 72, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2005 in Logan, Utah at Sunshine Terrace. She was born October 2, 1933 in Richmond, Utah to Golden Ivan and Emma Poppleton Bair Lawrence. Arlene married Noel Wayne Day October 2, 1953 in Richmond, Utah and their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple. Arlene loved fishing and hunting. She also enjoyed camping and growing a vegetable and flower garden every year. She like sewing and was an accomplished seamstress. She was a member of the LDS church and was a Sunbeam teacher. She is survived by her husband, Wayne of Richmond; four daughters, Debra Lynn (Garth) Purser, Richmond, Dixie Lee Massey, Meeker, CO, Lynda Green, Weston, ID, Suann (Terry) Griggs, Richmond; a son, Kent Wayne (Nina) Day, Logan, UT; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Gary Lawrence of WA, and John Todd Bair, Layton, UT; and sister, Mary Joan Hodges, Centerville, UT. She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, Angela Purser; and a grandson, Joshua Long. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2005 in the Richmond 1st Ward, 135 W. Main, Richmond, at 1 p.m. with Bishop Mick Stokes conducting. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the church in Richmond and Tuesday from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. also at the church. Interment will be in the Richmond Cemetery. Arrangements are by Webb Funeral Home, Preston, Idaho.
