Obituary: Murray John O"Dell

Murray John O'Dell 8/13/71 ~ 11/11/05 Murray John O'Dell, age 34, of Payson, passed away Friday, November 11, 2005 from injuries sustained in an accident of two semi-trucks. He was born August 13, 1971 in Provo, Utah. He was adopted by John Austin and Renalle Thaxton O'Dell, August 26th. He graduated in 1989 from Timpview High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during Desert Storm, Desert Shield, and in Bosnia. He married April Henrie, March 14, 1992 and they were later sealed in the Jordan River LDS Temple. Survivors include his wife, April; and three children, Leland (12), Tiffany (11), Sarah (7), all of Payson; a sister, Erin Garrord, Meridian, Idaho; his parents of Provo; and his parents-in-law, Don and Sandra Henrie of Payson. His daughter, Brittany, died as an infant. Services will be Monday, November 14, 2005, 11 a.m., in the Payson Park Ward chapel, 110 South 300 West. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary, 587 South 100 West, Payson, Sunday, 6-8 p.m. or at the church Monday, 9:45-10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Provo City Cemetery with military rites accorded by the VFW, Dist. #4.
