I just skimmed through Lee Benson's column (Nov. 11). Yea, that's what we need — more movies that are "edgy." We don't need "sanitized" movies. I want to remember all the "edgy" and less-than-stellar parts of my mission. How unfortunate that Richard Dutcher is actually no different than the rest of the world's filmmakers. He's trite and uses typical cliches of mainstream Hollywood. And Benson thinks he is good? I, for one, enjoy the "trite and cliche-laden" films of Mormon life in the mission field — like "The Best Two Years."
