I am writing about the free publicity that Fox Sports Utah, Dish Network and DirecTV have been receiving at the expense of Comcast. I am a Dish subscriber and have little love for cable TV. However, Fox and the satellite companies have been putting down Comcast for not carrying the extra package of 13 Utah Jazz games.
What is not being as widely publicized is if you do not live within 75 miles of the Delta Center, you do not get the games over satellite either. It took me several phone calls to discover this. Utahns have been led to believe we can get these games over the satellite when we cannot. Fox should cease singling out Comcast for criticism until the other providers cover the entire state.
