Edwin H. Beus (Readers' Forum, Nov. 12) comments that LDS missions are not like "God's Army." If all of the missionaries he served with were perfect, then that's wonderful. However, I also served a mission and could immediately identify elders and sisters from my mission who were just like the "God's Army" characters. Some were prepared and ready to serve. Some became great as time went on. Some wanted to go home. Most elders and sisters are still very young and don't always make perfect choices. Sometimes they do silly things, but they also have great success, better themselves and grow spiritually. Mr. Dutcher was able to accurately show the results of the Law of the Harvest: You reap what you sow.
